Electrician & General Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Maintenance Team at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness. Located in Chicago, our clubs provide a welcoming environment for members of all ages to engage in sports, fitness, and fun. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure the safety and functionality of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure all facilities run safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot systems and contribute to the upkeep of a clean, functional environment
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current journeyman electrician certification
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
