As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Journeyman Electrician to help power up our mission. Position Overview As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll work alongside our expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems. Key Responsibilities Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panelsRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprintsInstall electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshootingAssist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical componentsConduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systemsUse electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safelyEnsure all installations meet local and national electrical codesPromote a safe and positive work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman LicenseHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experienceStrong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)AC and DC electrical experience preferredAbility to read electrical drawings and blueprintsComfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test metersStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions Why Work at Generator Supercenter?
