Electrician, Controls
Responsibilities
- Assembling, installing, testing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical components using hand and power tools.
- Diagnosing malfunctions, testing electrical systems for accurate operation, and inspecting equipment for hazards or defects.
- Advising management on equipment operation.
- Working at heights to install and repair electrical wiring and equipment.
- Planning and performing installations while adhering to codes, preparing sketches, and updating drawings for accurate records.
- Pulling wires through conduits, constructing parts, and working on tasks like dismantling and assembling equipment with precision.
- Maintaining detailed records of breakdowns and repairs.
- Collaborating with maintenance fitters.
- Contributing to equipment modifications.
- Working with external contractors when needed.
Requirements
- Full Qualified Electrician in NC.
- Experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Electrical proficiency, capable of diagnosing and tackling problems, and reading electrical drawings.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, or related fields.
- Associate's Degree in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering Technologies.
