Troubleshooting and Repair
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
Customer Service
Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
Educate and offer the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time
Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC, plumbing or electrical systems
Job Site Management
Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
Document work completed with before and after photos
Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
Vehicle Maintenance
Maintain good working order of company vehicle
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
Travel and Dispatch
Travel to job sites in the service area
Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
Safety Practices
Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods
Training and Mentorship
Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies
Work with apprentices to coach and mentor
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System in a residential setting
- Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
- Working knowledge of city codes
- Integrity and the ability to promote a positive company image
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis
- Results driven in a high-energy environment
- Detail oriented with good time management skills
- Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
- Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
- Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
- Able to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
- Able to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
Compensation
Compensation Range $60,000+ (NO LIMIT)
