About the role
Turner Industries Group, LLC is seeking an Electrician to join their team in the Alpharetta, GA area. This role plans, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment.
Responsibilities
- Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials
- Provides access for future maintenance and avoids unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring
- Prepares sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment or follows diagrams or blueprints
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit
- Pulls wiring through conduit
- Slibs wires, connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
- Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads
- Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
- Maintains balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.
- May repair faulty equipment or systems
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- One (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)
- Knowledge of electrician's tools and how to use them
- Working on or above 600V or 69kV industrial high voltage distribution systems requires qualification
- Most job sites require NCCER certification for A-class Electricians
- Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction

- Complies with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
