Electrician

Join a leading agricultural science organization as a Plant Electrician, supporting plant operations at our York NE location. Key Responsibilities Include Performing electrical repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.Maintaining and improving electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems.Supporting capital projects, managing work orders, documentation, and preventive/predictive maintenance plans.Supporting safety initiatives, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.Utilizing predictive maintenance tools and maintaining equipment records and site/system prints.Assisting in project planning, estimating costs, and supporting installation and upgrades of mechanical and electrical equipment.Troubleshooting HMI systems and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and control devices. Qualifications Include High School diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience or education in industrial electrical or maintenance fields.Valid US driver’s license, willingness to work on elevated surfaces, and flexibility for extended hours, including weekends and holidays.Basic process controls understanding, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with electrical codes, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC systems, and welding.Physical ability to stand, sit, lift up to 60 lbs., and work in varied environmental conditions. Preferred Skills Journeyman electrical license and knowledge of PLC automation systems.
