Electrician

Shift: Full Time, open to all shifts

Pay

$50.56 per hour for candidates who successfully pass the required skills assessment and meet all hiring requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment and processes using proper instruments appropriate to the voltages and currents encountered
• Obtains one-lines, drawings, instructional manuals, special procedures, and creates additional sketched diagrams to clarify the intent of the work order
• Runs tests on equipment, isolates problems, replaces faulty sections of wiring, and lays conduit
• As part of the selection process, successfully passes a technical skills assessment evaluating industrial electrical troubleshooting, controls systems, instrumentation, PLC diagnostics, motor controls, VFDs, automation technologies, and advanced maintenance practices
• Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

Preferred: Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
