Electrician

Responsibilities

  • Installs, repairs and maintains electrical components on industrial equipment.
  • Installs conduits and cables.
  • Ensures installations comply with electrical codes.
  • Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.
  • Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
  • Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
  • Replaces electrical components as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completed formal training in basic electrical theory.
  • Knowledge of 208V and 480V (Delta) 3 phase systems, motor control and schematic reading.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory, electrical code/trade practices and low voltage controls.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Knowledge, troubleshooting and repair of AC and DC drives and controls, instrumentation and basic calibrations.
  • Safely work on any equipment in the plant.
  • Ability to wire integrated systems from more advanced wiring schematics.
  • Able to work with minimal direction.
  • High school diploma or GED and have completed a formal apprenticeship or valid electrician’s license.

Qualifications

  • Currently employed as an Electrician in a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to use basic test equipment.
  • Adhere to defense industry’s initiatives on business ethics and conduct with respect to fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • Meet compliance requirements of Pursuit Aerospace Business Conduct Guidelines as applicable to this position.

Preferred Qualifications
