Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and maintains electrical components on industrial equipment.
- Installs conduits and cables.
- Ensures installations comply with electrical codes.
- Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.
- Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
- Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
- Replaces electrical components as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completed formal training in basic electrical theory.
- Knowledge of 208V and 480V (Delta) 3 phase systems, motor control and schematic reading.
- Knowledge of electrical theory, electrical code/trade practices and low voltage controls.
- Basic PC skills.
- Knowledge, troubleshooting and repair of AC and DC drives and controls, instrumentation and basic calibrations.
- Safely work on any equipment in the plant.
- Ability to wire integrated systems from more advanced wiring schematics.
- Able to work with minimal direction.
- High school diploma or GED and have completed a formal apprenticeship or valid electrician’s license.
Qualifications
- Currently employed as an Electrician in a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to use basic test equipment.
- Adhere to defense industry’s initiatives on business ethics and conduct with respect to fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Meet compliance requirements of Pursuit Aerospace Business Conduct Guidelines as applicable to this position.
