Electrician
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Wire and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Diagnose failures to electrical equipment and make repairs.
- Rebuild electrical equipment.
- Fabricate conduit.
- Compile and complete paperwork related to repairs, including work orders, timecards, and job cards.
- Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
- Respond to calls after hours and on weekends to repair electrical equipment and power failures.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Walk, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and work with arms above shoulder level.
- Move freely throughout Agribusiness facilities, including climbing vertical heights (0–150').'
- Carry tools and equipment (0–50 pounds).
- Work in environments with temperatures (0–100°F), humidity (0–100%), and noise (50db–100db).
- Exposure to grain dust and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
- Wear protective equipment as required.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding electrical equipment that supports critical production operations. From preventative maintenance and PLC wiring to diagnosing equipment failures and responding to emergency breakdowns, you will play a key role in ensuring safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Working in a fast-paced industrial environment, you will collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to solve complex challenges while following industry-leading safety standards. Schedule
This position will be a 12 hour rotating shift.
Pay
This position has a base rate of $38.41 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).
