Electrician

PRST is looking for Mid-Level & Journeyman Electricians to support Electrical Contractors in Montecito, CA and surrounding residential job sites in Santa Barbara county.

About the role

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems within residential homes. Rough-in wiring. Make-up work. Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Troubleshoot & diagnose wiring errors using testers and multimeters. Read and interpret blueprints & schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems within residential homes
• Rough-in wiring and make-up work
• Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose wiring errors using testers and multimeters
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience on residential job sites preferred
• Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your job site (Pliers, wire strippers, cutters, screwdrivers, drills, tester, multimeter, fish tape, level, tape measure)
• California Journey Level License or active ET Card required
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)

Pay

$32-$40 per hour, depending on experience
