Job Duties
- Oversee: Take ownership of troubleshooting electrical systems, including power distribution, panels, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, motor controls, lighting controls, building automation, and HVAC electrical controls
- Restore: Repair and maintain facility electrical systems that support safe, reliable, and efficient daily operations
- Connect: Install conduit, wiring, controls, equipment, and system upgrades that align with NEC requirements and company standards
- Manage: Partner with contractors, Facilities leadership, and maintenance team members to support projects and resolve complex issues
- Check: Inspect completed work, identify reliability risks, and recommend long-term corrective actions that strengthen performance
- Lead: Mentor maintenance team members through coaching, training, and hands-on technical support
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Master Electrician License or Electrical Contractor License
- 7+ years of commercial, industrial, facility, manufacturing, distribution, or large-scale retail electrical experience
- Advanced knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safe work practices
- Experience troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic control systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
