Summary Of Position
This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energize large mobile mining equipment according to isolation/lockout standards, troubleshoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.
Necessary Qualifications
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas.
- Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.
- Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics preferred.
- Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment preferred.
- MSHA approval for surface mine electrician preferred.

The employee is regularly required to:

Works in site environments on rotating shifts with variable hours. Working outdoors in all weather conditions; working in plant environment; working in shop environment; and working in the cab of equipment or vehicle.
