Journeyman Electrician

MPE Services is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. This position involves assisting customers with the maintenance, repair, and installation of their electrical systems, both residential and commercial. Key responsibilities include performing inspections, conducting assessments, selecting appropriate solutions, setting up and maintaining electrical components, monitoring inventory, logging time and resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Carry standard equipment and parts at all times
• Commute between work locations
• Conduct inspections and assessments
• Select and install electrical components
• Monitor inventory and log time/resources
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations
• Provide professional, friendly, and prompt services

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship
• Valid state license permitting practice as a journeyman electrician (if required)
• Appropriate certificate or degree advantageous
• Good arithmetic skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Observant and thorough
• Active listener with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physically fit to carry up to 50 pounds
• Capable of working in confined spaces
