About the role

Join a leading agricultural science company as a Plant Electrician, supporting operations at a facility in York, NE.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe, reliable electrical system operations through repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance in compliance with safety standards.
• Supporting plant operations via corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Managing work orders, documentation, and maintenance plans using CMMS, and supporting capital projects with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintaining electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, HVAC systems, and supporting safety and process improvements.
• Utilizing predictive tools, troubleshooting HMI systems, and maintaining detailed equipment records.
• Planning and leading project work to minimize production disruptions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience or education in industrial electrical or maintenance fields.
• Valid US driver’s license, willingness to work on elevated surfaces, and flexibility for extended hours.
• Basic process control knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret the National Electric Code and perform repairs following safety guidelines.

Preferred Skills

• Journeyman electrical license
• Understanding of PLC automation systems
