Annual stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year under the LBSEA Contract 2026-2029 (see salary guides for yearly stipends, pp. 79-80).
Qualifications
- Valid Electrician License (State of New Jersey) is required
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues in facilities and equipment
- Ensure all electrical systems are safe and operating efficiently
- Collaborate with staff and contractors as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Advise on cost-effective and code-compliant electrical solutions
- May assist with planning and estimating future electrical needs
Pay
$7,500 annual stipend
