Electrician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems (120/208v, 120/240v, and 277/480v) and lighting systems.
• Provide temporary power for food and beverage.
• Distribute show power for certain events.
• Assist other departments when required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus successful completion of classroom electrical program or on-the-job electrical training.
• 2-4 years electrician work experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Knowledge of proper use of tools, techniques, and equipment in the electrical trade.
• Ability to work all shifts as needed: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic tools used in the electrical trade.

Physical Demand and Work Environment

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and noise levels.
