Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To efficiently and safely install, maintain, and/or remove electrical circuitry and activities of presses, furnaces, and other pieces of plant equipment and systems.
- To efficiently and safely do the general electrical maintenance (such as lighting, alarms systems, refrigeration, ventilation, motors, air conditioning and other circuitry).
- To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
- To legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information. This includes print and design changes.
- To effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions.
- To provide active input to continuous process improvement.
- To effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors and others with a need to know.
- To maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
- To maintain tools and instruments that are used on the job.
- To participate in the training of others and aid in their appraisal.
- To provide assistance in writing new or revising old procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform work using trade knowledge within the National Electrical Code and that specific to Keystone Engineering Standards.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of post-high school electrical education or equivalent industrial experience.
- Understands decimals, fractions, percentages, averages, etc.
- Understands and uses higher levels of math such as trigonometry.
Pay
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
