ELECTRICIAN

About the role

Electricians will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems. You will complete all assignments in a timely and professional manner while ensuring the highest standards of safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve major electrical issues such as faulty wiring, breaker failures, outlet or lighting problems, system failures, and more.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan or assess electrical installations and layouts.
• Install, upgrade, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and components, as well as test electrical circuits using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct comprehensive system inspections to identify hazards, verify proper operation, and ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Deliver top-tier customer service by handling customer questions, responding to service calls, troubleshooting electrical concerns, providing clear explanations, and preparing accurate repair or installation estimates.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• A minimum of three years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid physical dexterity.
• A reasonable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
