Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to interpret and implement electrical diagrams to wire mechanical assemblies.
• Wire robot controllers, j-boxes, panels, robots, assembly lines and build cable trays.
• Wire machinery from drawings and bill of material.
• Install communication blocks and wire Ethernet, auxiliary power and safety circuits.
• Wire 480V circuits.
• Install temporary power.
• Bend and install conduit.
• Prepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct work.
• Verify tags, tag units and cords.
• Run cords and dress tool per customer requirements.
• Drill, tap and ream holes.
• Maintain application skills for electrical components, circuits, J.I.C. electrical specifications, NEMA standards.
• Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/environmental concerns.
• Travel to customer sites when needed to assist with machine installation.
• Perform any other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience wiring machinery.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
