Electrician
About the role
Greiner Industries is seeking an Electrician to join their team. The primary responsibilities include running conduit, pulling wire, installing electrical components, and interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure safe, code-compliant installations.
Responsibilities
- Erecting and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Planning and installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.
- Installing ground leads and connecting power cables to equipment.
- Reading, interpreting, and understanding electrical schematics, blueprints, and layout drawings.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and some evenings.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and layout drawings.
- Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in electrical systems and components.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. A $2,500 new hire bonus is also offered.
Schedule
This position is available on both 1st and 2nd shifts. 2nd shift includes 4x10-hour shifts with an additional 15% differential.
