Major Position Responsibilities
- Works in Forge, TMP, Production and Machine Shop by installing, troubleshooting and repairing facility electrical control systems, PLC, CNC relay and computer controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Reads and comprehends electrical drawings to analyze all low, medium and high voltage systems.
- Works with and follows Basic Rules of Manufacturing, GDOTS, Scranton Environmental Policy, ISO Documentation, Quality Policy and other work related policies.
- Demonstrates common electrical safety and safety practices associated with the manufacturing environment and the use of hand or industrial equipment.
- Follows lockout/tagout and confined space entry procedures.
- Adheres to hazardous material handling procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- Education/Experience: An electrical degree from a college or technical school or any combination of education, training or work related experience 3+ years experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be able to pass an aptitude test for Electricians. Must be willing to work off shifts and experience working in an union environment.
