Objectives / Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and replace components of the electrical distribution system as required.
- Perform all necessary electrical safety inspections in accordance with applicable regulatory agencies and hospital policies.
- Install new wiring, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment as needed.
- Diagnose issues and complete repairs on facility electrical equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in a secure and safe manner.
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment and maintain proper working conditions.
- Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and ongoing maintenance.
- Follow all applicable safe working methods, practices, and procedures.
- Report any unsafe working conditions to management for corrective action.
- Complete all required documentation for work performed, inspections, or investigations.
- Provide emergency on-call services as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with electrical testing and inspection tools.
- Knowledge of electrical safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
