WP Resources is looking for an on-site journeyman electrician for our aggregate and sand processing plant in Yoder, WY. This role may require travel to other project and mine sites. The position reports to the site Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing existing equipment including conveyor systems
• Determining condition of electrical equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and determining needed repairs
• Identifying materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
• Evaluating site requests, providing pricing to complete projects
• Providing a safe, hazard‑free environment
• Other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

• Must possess Electrician License for WY, or ability to obtain a license through reciprocity within 6 weeks of hire; master journeyman preferred
• Substantial experience working with 3‑phase motors in the range of 10 Hp to 150 Hp, soft starts, VFDs and PLCs
• Ability to define problems and offer solutions
• Strong teamwork
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role:
  • Standing – 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Walking – 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping – 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) – Regularly
  • Lift and Carry (50/60 lbs. for 20 ft.) – Regularly
  • Push/Pull – 6 to 8 hours daily
