Electrician
Essential Functions
Performs skilled electrician work to install, alter, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
The work environment involves exposure to various electrical hazards, such as high voltage and hazardous materials. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and working in confined spaces.

Education
Education and Experience: High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent from an accredited educational institution. Completion of a recognized four year electrical apprenticeship, or five (5) years of experience as a skilled electrician.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date.
- A Graduated Driver's License is considered restricted.
- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
