Description Of Duties/Essential Functions

Under direct supervision, for a period not to exceed twelve months, receives classroom and on-the-job training in performing on-site examinations of state banks, corporate fiduciary data processing centers and service providers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 semester hours in business course work (such as finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, business, marketing, accounting, computer science)
  • Requires the ability to:
    • learn and retain knowledge of applicable state/federal statutes and regulations governing the banking industry
    • acquire and maintain requisite skills and knowledge to conduct examinations of banking facilities
    • acquire and maintain knowledge of the various types of securities and collateral held by banks
    • establish and maintain effective public relations and working relationships with officials of the industry being regulated
    • recognize existing and potential problems based upon established procedures and criteria
    • communicate effectively in oral and written form
    • compose written reports in a logical and concise manner
    • acquire requisite knowledge pertaining management concepts and work with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and GroupWise

  • Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
