About the role
CBRE is seeking Electricians who can handle a variety of tasks related to electrical and lighting systems. Ideal candidates should have 5 years of commercial experience, strong technical and organizational skills, and the physical capability to perform the job.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical and lighting systems, ensuring safe operation.
- Perform new installations of equipment.
- Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems.
- Affirm that equipment is being maintained and operating safely.
- Develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules based on historical maintenance records.
- Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish work and tackle routine problems.
- Demonstrate leadership by modeling CBRE RISE values, maintaining high-quality work standards, collaborating effectively with team members, and communicating clearly in routine situations to meet objectives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, solid understanding of a CMMS, and advanced math skills.
Qualifications
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Skills
- General knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
