Electrician

Principal Accountabilities

• Identify follow-up work and parts required
• Aid in the development and implementation of new systems
• Complete, sign, and return Work Orders to Maintenance Supervisor
• Note deficiencies, delays, and job plan feedback
• Help promote and communicate Maintenance and Reliability within the organization
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Participate in safety training and meetings

Required Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• At least 18 years old
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
• Comply with local codes, regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Engineering or significant experience in PLC and control system troubleshooting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience troubleshooting limit switches, photo eye, and proximity switches
• Proficiency in reading ladder diagrams and troubleshooting PLC machines without a computer
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty electrical components using hand tools and electrical test equipment
• Experience measuring, cutting, and bending conduit such as rigid EMT, PVC, and IMC
• Understanding and ability to change settings on drives
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum system concepts
• Experience with Microsoft Office
