About the role

Our Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on various job sites. This role requires extensive travel to different locations to support construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety codes and industry standards. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in working in diverse industrial environments across industries such as automotive, aerospace, infrastructure, print, packaging, FMCG, metals, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical disconnect, removal, and reconnect of machinery.
  • Handle all facets of electrical work for new installations, renovations, machine relocations, and repairs of electrical systems.
  • Work with various types of process machinery in industrial and automotive plants.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems.
  • Handle data, controls, and PLC systems for automation.
  • Install and maintain conduit and wiring systems.
  • Work with cable trays and multi-conductor cables.
  • Install and maintain transformers, switches, sensors, relays, starters, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Oversee low and medium voltage power distribution systems.
  • Use wire pulling and conduit bending tools, multi-meters, insulation resistance test equipment, and data cable certification instruments.
  • Pull and terminate Cat5/5e/6/6a/7 data cables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and a high degree of workmanship.
  • Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • 4 years of directly related electrical experience in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in running and bending rigid conduit with precision and efficiency.
  • 10-hour Construction OSHA certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license; capable of driving long distances (up to 10 hours) and operating industrial lifts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and manufacturer’s literature.
  • Capable of frequently lifting up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in extreme temperatures (over 100°F to below 10°F) while wearing all necessary safety PPE.
  • Willingness to assist the job site team with tasks such as equipment installation and demobilization.
  • Ability to work on energized circuits and equipment in compliance with safety policies.
  • Proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing English.

Physical Demands

The role requires continual sitting, use of hands, talking, and hearing, as well as standing, walking, climbing, and stooping/kneeling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and, seldom, 75 pounds or more with assistance.

Work Environment

This is a traveling indoor/outdoor position with exposure to adverse working conditions, including dirt, noise, fumes, heat, and cold. Travel is required 100% of the time.
