Electrician
About the role
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting issues. The role also involves ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations, performing diagnostic tests, and managing projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and malfunctions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installations and repairs.
- Perform diagnostic tests using various tools to identify and solve electrical issues.
- Comply with all state, local, and national electrical codes and safety regulations, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safety and proper function.
- Collaborate with various members from other departments on projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide training and mentorship to apprentices and junior staff.
- Stay current with new electrical technologies, advancements, and code revisions.
Requirements
- A valid electrician’s license, and an “S” designation indicating a specialization in certain systems.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or a technical degree.
- A strong understanding of electrical theory, a variety of tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Punctuality.
- Capability to work in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- This is a full-time position that requires field and on-site work.
- The position will be located at BCS365 Headquarters in Rockland, MA.
- Reliable mode of transportation required.
- A valid driver's license required.
- The schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. *Start/end times may vary due to client needs.

Pay
The pay range listed for this position is based on market data and reflects the company’s good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay.
