About the role
Under general supervision, installs, troubleshoots and repairs all electrical circuits and devices throughout the Baptist Health System.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and devices
- Work as needed, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Formal technical training in the electrical field to at least the apprentice level (preferred)
- Licensed and bonded Master Electrician (preferred)
Qualifications
- Must occasionally work in temperatures ranging from below zero to 140oF
- Routinely bend, stoop, squat, lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds, push, pull, stand, walk, climb and use hand and power tools
- May be exposed to various stored energy, some of which could be lethal, such as electrical, mechanical, steam and air
- Sometimes exposed to hazards such as chemicals, acids and gases with protective measures provided
- Occasionally works in a noisy environment
