Electrician - 3rd shift

About the role

The Maintenance Electrician I – III – 3rd shift role supports 3rd shift operations within Amway's 7 plants in Ada, focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting preventive maintenance and repairs for manufacturing equipment across 7 plants.
• Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions in production equipment.
• Performing installations and adjustments for facilities and manufacturing equipment.
• Participating in root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
• Flexibility for possible Monday through Saturday scheduling, with flexible work hours determined by production and scheduling needs.
• Occasional scheduled and unscheduled overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician’s license through the State of Michigan.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• High School diploma, apprenticeship completion, or 4 years of relevant maintenance work experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs and PLC control applications.
• Experience with robotics and industrial controls is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and safety, with a high level of accuracy.
