Electrician - 2nd Shift

About the Role

OMG Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fastening products and technologies for the commercial roofing and construction industries worldwide. The company operates two divisions: OMG Roofing Products, a global manufacturer and supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry, and FastenMaster, which manufactures innovative wood-to-wood fasteners for professional contractors. This role supports electrical projects and machine maintenance involving electrical adjustments at our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all employees.
• Provide support on scheduled electrical projects and daily work to achieve maintenance goals.
• Recommend improvements to equipment and processes as necessary.
• Monitor equipment usage and make recommendations to reduce spending.
• Develop and maintain an expectation of quality as an essential element of project success.
• Evaluate and compare various control and power alternatives and help the Maintenance Supervisor select the best solution using technical, economic, reliability, and maintainability criteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
