Electrician (2nd Shift)

As our new Electrician, you'll be performing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and facility systems that ensure uninterrupted production of world-leading pump solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create impact by ensuring maximum equipment uptime and electrical safety across our production facility, directly supporting Grundfos's mission to deliver sustainable water solutions worldwide.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components on production machinery and facility infrastructure.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and automated equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems following scheduled maintenance plans.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to execute work accurately.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC codes, safety regulations, and Grundfos standards.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification with 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing electrical experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting three-phase power systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Working knowledge of NEC codes and industrial electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and keeping manufacturing operations running at peak performance.

Skills

• Familiarity with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems) such as SAP PM.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $55,900.00 - $69,900.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.

Schedule

This position is on our 2nd shift. The hours are Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm.
