Essential Functions
- Inspect, maintain, and repair Campus Card Access, Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, and their related components, including but not limited to, electric controls, electro-mechanical controls, and computer software programs.
- Instruct, advise, and mentor employees and technicians in the operation and maintenance of the above systems.
- Act as a first responder inspecting, testing, trouble shooting, repairing, and initiating repairs on Fire Alarm Systems, Card Access Systems, and Security Systems to federal, state and local codes. This requires electrical testing, electronic testing, and micro-processor diagnostic equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Massachusetts Electrician's License.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing building systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
