Electrical Wiring Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical schematics, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and related documentation for complex industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical design, proficiency in Zuken E3, and a commitment to engineering quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design: Develop electrical schematics, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and related documentation using Zuken E3. Design wiring solutions for complex industrial equipment following established engineering standards. Select connectors, terminals, wire types, cable protection, and standard electrical components. Design high-flex cable systems and e-chain routing for moving assemblies.
• Engineering Documentation: Create and maintain accurate electrical documentation in Zuken E3, including wire lists, cable schedules, connector tables, harness drawings, labels, and related manufacturing documentation. Structure and maintain BOMs in the Company’s ORACLE database in alignment with the mechanical engineering team. Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and consistent with company standards throughout the product lifecycle, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Engineering Support: Support prototype assembly and manufacturing by resolving electrical documentation issues. Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and systems engineers to address integration issues. Participate in electrical design reviews and resolve assigned engineering issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial electrical design experience. Proficiency in Zuken E3 is required. Experience with Altium Designer, AutoCAD, or DraftSight is desirable.
• Technical Skills: Industrial wiring and cable assembly, harness design, connector selection, high-flex cable systems, e-chain applications, industrial electrical documentation, basic AC/DC power distribution, and industrial control components.
