Electrical Testing Technician (NETA III)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical testing crews on acceptance and maintenance projects.
• Perform advanced testing, including primary injection, secondary injection/relay testing, and breaker timing.
• Troubleshoot abnormal or failed test results and provide corrective recommendations.
• Validate and review test data; prepare accurate field reports.
• Ensure all work complies with NETA standards and safety regulations (NFPA 70E, OSHA).

Qualifications

• NETA Level III Certification (required).
• 5+ years of electrical testing experience with MV/LV power systems.
• Strong knowledge of protective relays, switchgear, breakers, transformers, and testing equipment.
• Proven ability to lead crews and mentor junior technicians.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
