Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on cables and heater systems.
- Perform routine and specialized electrical tests on mineral-insulated cable systems to evaluate performance and quality.
- Support other production-related tasks as required.
- Aid with research and development efforts to enhance cable performance, applying technical knowledge to innovative projects.
- Manage and maintain the inventory of testing materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of test procedures, calibrations, and maintenance activities.
Testing Equipment Experience (Preferred)
- Line frequency HiPot (up to 50kV)
- Very low frequency (VLF) HiPot
- DC Insulation Testing
- Tan-Delta Testing
- Power Analysis Meters
- Inductance and Capacitance Meters
- High Current Injection
- Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) Fault Finding
- Data Acquisition and Logging Equipment
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA/QC experience, particularly with electrical systems and test equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office for record-keeping and report generation.
- Practical experience with hand and power tools.
