Electrical Test Engineer lll

About This Role

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter
• Responsibilities include:
  • Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements
  • Fulfill daily responsibilities including research and developing electrical design concepts, performance calculations, and hands-on support of lab testing and troubleshooting
  • Growth in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presented
  • Develop aspects of test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements
  • Utilize textural scripting languages for programming low level instrumentation for measurements gathering
  • Avoidance of repetitive tasks through automation and optimization of test processes
• Perform data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders
• Develop aspects of test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements
• Utilize textural scripting languages for programming low level instrumentation for measurements gathering
• Avoidance of repetitive tasks through automation and optimization of test processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 5+ years of related experience
• Active Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required
