Electrical Technician II

About the role

The Electrical Technician position in the Panel Shop at WEG Electric Corp. involves wiring, testing, and troubleshooting control panels that manage motors and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Wires electrical controls panels according to layout, work instructions, and standards.
• Reads and interprets electrical schematics to ensure proper wiring of control panels.
• Assists line specialists with training of new employees.
• Works independently with minimal supervision from Line Specialists or Supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of wiring experience required.
• 4+ years of related experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics required.
• Use of power tools and basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers, socket sets) required.
