Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production.
- Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components.
- Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, In accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.
- Set up and operate test equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
- Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
- Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.
Basic Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Attention to detail.
- Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
- Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and physical strength are necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
- Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
- Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
Pay
The range for this position is $20.00 to $37.00. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education and training, job-related knowledge and skills, the scope and level of responsibility of the position, internal equity, and market/business considerations.
