Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment
• Troubleshoot switchgear, breakers, transformers, motors, drives and power distribution systems
• Maintain PLCs, protective relays, control systems and networks
• Install, test and repair electrical and electronic components
• Drive to field locations for emergency repairs
• Train and mentor technicians
• Maintain safety, QHSE compliance, records and documentation

Requirements

• Medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems knowledge
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and diagnostics
• Instrumentation and controls knowledge
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and P&IDs
• Networking and radio communications knowledge
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584
• Leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related field (preferred)
• 4-7 years of relevant experience (required)
• Valid Driver License (required)
• Journeyman Electrician designation (preferred)
