Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for operational technical issues.
- Aid in enhancing current maintenance and operation practices.
- Identify opportunities for improving plant reliability and extending maintenance intervals through trials and process efficiencies.
- Routinely produce reports for management use.
- Set up and review preventative maintenance tasks for all operating sites using the company’s Maintenance Management Systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and failure analysis, and assist in implementing preventative action recommendations.
- Act as a technical consultant to all departments within the organization regarding reliability and maintenance.
Person Specification
- Ability to provide technical customer service to suit organizational needs.
- Familiarity with developing deliverables across electrical, mechanical, process engineering, and operations disciplines.
- Proactivity in identifying operational improvements.
- Understanding and application of principles related to rotating machinery, including compressors, engines, piping, valves, and controls equipment.
- Development and application of electrical/controls guides and standards.
- Computer literacy with MS Word, MS Excel, and experience in collecting and processing system data.
- Knowledge of operations in power generating plants and gas/chemical processes.
- Understanding of design tools, processes, and techniques relevant to the field.
- Ability to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multi-skilled work environment.
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and disciplined work habits.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A focus on exceeding customer expectations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade qualification with formal engineering qualifications preferred.
- An understanding of RNG and power plant process equipment.
- Experience with MMS systems and predictive maintenance.
- Background in process engineering or gas systems is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and related software.
