What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage a team of electricians, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
- Cookordination and oversight of electrical installations, repairs, and other projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
- Follow all quality standards and hold team accountable to quality targets. Complete all necessary inspection checklists and documentation.
- Record any issues found and the corrective actions taken.
Education/Experience
- A high school diploma or related equivalent required.
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; technical certification; or related equivalent experience preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of demonstrated maintenance or electrical experience required.
- Mechanical manufacturing leadership preferred.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Deep understanding of the manufacturing business.
- Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, and the ability to impact them.
- Ability to maintain relationships with diverse groups, including vendors, customers, and employees.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities.
Environment
- Environmental Job Requirements: Most of your time is spent standing/walking.
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions and around loud noises.
- Physical requirements: Will require appropriate personal protection equipment to be worn.
Travel
- Typically requires travel 10% of the time.
