Electrical Supervisor
About the role
Provide first-line supervisor oversight to daily tasks performed by the Electrical Crew, consisting of four day shift electricians. Responsible for maintenance and installation of all electrical equipment for the plant. Incorporate safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and are followed at all times. Adept at prioritizing and coordinating electrical maintenance activities so as to maximize operational efficiencies and equipment availability. Responsible for following and upholding components of the RPM Model for all assigned areas including but not limited to: work order submissions/approval/routing, scheduling, daily/weekly/monthly meeting schedules, and crew utilization.

- Take lead role in training and developing of assigned employees in the skills needed to achieve key performance metrics.
- Able to build rapport with employees through effective communication and engagement efforts.
- Must be willing to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
- Adaptable to shift assignment and overtime requirements.
Requirements
- Must possess valid and in good standing Oregon Limited Supervisor Manufacturing Plant Electrical License or Oregon General Supervisor Electrical License.
- Must meet the requirements for an electrical supervisor as established in the plant Operator Rate Program.
- Supervisory exposure in a full-time or relief role is a plus.
- Must be able to lead employees in LEAN Manufacturing concepts.
- Working knowledge of the RPM (reliability performance model) program and the ability to enter data, navigate, and extract information from EAM (maintenance software).
- Ability to execute an effective preventative maintenance program for all electrical equipment and direct the use of this program for inspections and repairs.
- Business minded, people and results oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Self-starter, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership potential including personal accountability, decision-making and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to develop relationships in a diverse workforce environment by prioritizing coaching and engagement.
