About the role

The Electrical Superintendent oversees the construction of electrical related activities on assigned projects, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable completion. They also manage subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure compliance with contracts and codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the construction of electrical projects
• Manage subcontractors and ensure their compliance with contracts and codes
• Oversee safety protocols and conduct safety reviews
• Verify material deliveries and perform inspections
• Witness equipment settings and alignments
• Perform and record tests, calibrate instruments, and oversee system testing
• Develop and maintain project documentation
• Oversee material and tool management
• Ensure adherence to project scope and address any changes
• Handle multiple tasks and multi-site projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of experience on electrical projects
• Associate’s Degree with 9+ years of experience on electrical projects
• High School Diploma/GED with 11+ years of experience on electrical projects
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work
• Multiple years of experience on construction project sites or program management in industries such as aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, transportation, or water
• Must meet the company's driving requirements
