Responsibilities
- Act as the lead for field operations teams, while collaborating with teams across the country who have renewable energy backgrounds.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to foremen and field teams to support their professional growth.
- Ensure field teams are equipped to troubleshoot and resolve QA/QC issues on the fly.
- Lead field operations for commercial solar projects, including overseeing the installation of electrical systems and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Provide technical direction and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) oversight in the field.
- Represent EIG’s field operations as the primary interface with clients, showcasing leadership and technical expertise to build client confidence.
- Support the pre-construction and project teams by reviewing trade partner proposals, schedules, and logistics.
- Aid in the planning and execution of system start-up, test and balance, and commissioning, with a focus on renewable energy systems.
- Oversee project-specific electrical quality and safety programs.
- Contribute to the development of lean construction schedules and perform regular updates.
- Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project milestones and obtain required permits.
- Cook up logistics and maintain strong relationships with neighboring occupants and stakeholders.

- Proven ability to represent field operations effectively in client-facing situations.
- Ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities.
- Proficiency in the use of current virtual design and construction software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
Skills
- Strong grasp of commercial electrical construction concepts, renewable energy systems, and applicable codes.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to electrical and solar installations.
- OSHA 30 (or better).
- NABCEP certification.
