About the role
We're seeking a talented and driven Superintendent to lead our team of electrical superintendents and foremen. This position involves regular, short notice travel to work sites, overseeing job reviews, quality control, and safety walks and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and oversight of onsite electrical superintendent / foremen
- Job reviews at key milestones (initial, 25%, 50%, 75%, and closeout)
- Cost to complete budget updates and assistance with manpower and material needs
- Mentoring and directing foremen and construction electricians
- Collaboration with project managers and company leadership
- Efficient material ordering, receiving, and distribution
Requirements
- 15-20 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
- Previous superintendent experience leading foremen and field crews
- Extensive electrical expertise including new construction and remodel installations
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Experience with Procore, strong computer skills, and relevant certifications (OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Journeyman or Master Electrician license)
- Valid drivers license with willingness to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime
Qualifications
- Ability to manage and train foremen and construction electricians
- Knowledgeable in electrical systems and practices
- Experience with project planning and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in conduit installation, wiring, device termination, testing, and troubleshooting
