Electrical Superintendent

Job Duties

• Lead and oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility, utilizing all resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules, and applicable regulations
• Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend corrective actions as needed
• Conduct accident investigations when required
• Avoid non-compliance with all company, client, and project policies, standards, and procedures
• Motivate team members to achieve objectives and maintain a high standard of work
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control
• Organize and plan the work for which you are responsible, ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and information are prepared in advance
• Maintain a daily job journal detailing actual events, decisions, and progress

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• A positive safety attitude and personal integrity
• A strong customer service orientation and team player; ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements
• Insured personal transportation
• At least 7 years of prior experience in electrical construction (DOD, healthcare, industrial, or premier commercial sectors)
• Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years of related experience preferred
• A basic knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 70E
• The ability to manage risk and profitability effectively
