Electrical Superintendent

About the role
Our Electrical Superintendent oversees projects from award to final construction, requiring a high level of customer service to build and maintain relationships. This position demands an electrical construction background and strong leadership to manage crews while meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise projects with crews of 20+ personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.
- Diplomatically manage crews, providing training and constructive feedback.
- Plan and layout projects, including material take-offs and tool needs based on the project schedule.
- Establish site-specific safety plans and evaluate project risks to mitigate hazards.
- Review and implement installations per contract drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate contracted scope of work with the Project Manager to determine change requests and schedule impacts.
- Plan material, equipment, and labor needs for timely delivery to and from the site.
- Monitor daily progress against short-term and long-term schedules to meet commitments, providing written documentation of activities and obstacles.
- Conduct and participate in project meetings, coordinating with trades as needed.
- Communicate with the Project Manager and purchasing manager on material requisitions and delivery schedules.
- Establish and implement prefabrication tasks specific to the project.
- Demonstrate leadership through teamwork, dependability, and acknowledgment of others' contributions.
- Maintain regular attendance and compliance with scheduled work hours.
- Apply knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Act as a self-starter and perform other duties or work in other locations as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Current Colorado Journeyman license.
- Seven or more years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
- Ability to apply technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
- Moderate to high-level computer skills, including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
- Safety training related to electrical and general construction, such as OSHA 30-hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific certifications.

Schedule
Full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
