About the role
Licensed Superintendents lead our electrical teams on the job site. They possess a thorough understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and are passionate about safety, training, leadership development, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintains current licensing and training requirements.
- Manages large projects (15+ electricians or multiple small-medium projects simultaneously) effectively while meeting or beating estimated job costs.
- Consistently meets or exceeds Faith's productivity goals.
- Familiarizes with Faith's estimating software and uses internal resources like Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating, etc.
- Conducts jobsite safety evaluations.
- Develops and integrates project schedules with other trades.
- Communicates areas of concern/opportunity to Project Managers to maintain or improve margins.
- Effectively conducts and navigates through difficult conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
- Successfully develops successors for the Foreman position.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
- Travel: 60-75%
- Work Schedule: Between 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
Skills
Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), safety awareness, leadership, and project management skills.
